Diana Haigney is an Intern at GSIS. Ms. Haigney graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in English, where her primary area of interest was Early Modern English literature. Her interest in security subjects developed while taking undergraduate coursework in sociology and modern Eastern European and South Asian history.
Prior to joining GSIS, Ms. Haigney held internship positions at Andrews & Thornton LLP, where she assisted attorneys in class action litigation, and in a clinical psychology lab, where she supported researchers developing suicide-prevention protocols targeting military populations.
As an Intern at GSIS, Ms. Haigney provides administrative and research support for associates, directors and principals. Working at GSIS has allowed Ms. Haigney to better explore her interests in security, international relations and technology policy.
