Alexandra Butler
Analyst
Alexandra Butler is an Analyst at GSIS. Ms. Butler graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Spanish with a minor in Legal Studies. She continued her education at the George Washington University, where she graduated with a Master of Arts in International Affairs with concentrations in Latin America and Conflict Resolution.
In 2018, Ms. Butler studied for a semester in Oviedo, Spain, in order to strengthen her understanding of the Spanish language and culture.
She continued her education centric travel in 2023, when she went to Honduras in order to conduct in person interviews and observations regarding her final project at the George Washington University. She wrote and presented on the potential anti-corruption commission in Honduras and what its future would look like if implemented.
