Connor Martin
Associate
Connor Martin is an Associate at GSIS. Mr. Martin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in Political Science from American University.
Prior to joining GSIS, Mr. Martin worked as an International Logistics Specialist at Metrica Inc., a government contractor for the Office of Technical Assistance (OTA) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He managed a portfolio of countries in Eastern Europe and East Africa, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of subcontractor operations for OTA.
In 2023, Mr. Martin worked as a Program Assistant at the United Nations Association of the National Capitol Area, advocating for UN funding on Capitol Hill and organizing key events.
In 2022, he interned at the Kenya Human Rights Commission in Nairobi, where he engaged with NGO leaders and developed action plans focused on human rights issues, including the abolition of the death penalty.
Mr. Martin also serves as the Programs Fellow at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy, where he fosters outside partnerships and facilitates events to engage emerging leaders in foreign policy discussions.
